I was born in Australia in 1993, but soon after, my family returned to Switzerland, where I spent a joyful and creative childhood. I later graduated with a degree in Graphic Design and also pursued studies in pre-primary and primary education — two fields that reflect my deep love for creativity, people, and meaningful connection.
After getting married, my husband and I made the exciting decision to emigrate back to Australia. While traveling through this breathtaking country, I founded Simply Laura Design as a way to support our adventures and stay creatively fulfilled.
When we unexpectedly found ourselves stranded in the beautiful Byron Bay area due to the 2022 floods, life gave me a pause — and a new beginning.
I took that time to dive back into graphic design, and it reignited a passion I had almost forgotten. What started as a side project soon turned into a heart-led business. I poured everything into it, and Simply Laura Designs evolved into a space where I now help others bring their dreams and stories to life through intentional, beautiful design.
Today, I work with visionary women and purpose-driven businesses to create branding and websites that are not only visually stunning, but also deeply aligned with who they are.
